Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying

North Thurston Public Schools strives to maintain a safe, respectful and secure learning environment for all students that is free from harassment, intimidation and bullying.  Our district values differences among people and treating one another respectfully.  In accordance with Washington state RCW 28A.600.477, harassment, intimidation and bullying of students by other students, by staff members, by volunteers, by parents or by guardians is prohibited.

Reporting Bullying and Harassment

Families and students are encouraged to report any concerns about harassment, intimidation, or bullying directly to the school principal or any staff member. Staff will work to address the concern promptly. If the matter is resolved to the satisfaction of those involved, no additional action may be needed. 

If you believe that you or someone you know is experiencing unresolved, severe, or ongoing harassment, intimidation, or bullying that requires further investigation, please complete the HIB Incident Reporting Form linked directly below:

Submitting this form notifies the district office and begins the process described in our district’s HIB policy and procedure.
