Virtual Art Wall

Month of the Military Child Virtual Art Wall

 

Our 2026 theme is Military Children and Youth—Strength in Every Story. 

Students can submit artwork for inclusion on our virtual art wall and receive a MOMC participation goodie bag!  The Virtual Art Wall will be updated with this year's entries and posted to the NTPS YouTube Channel (and on this page) in April 2026.

Submission Deadline: March 20, 2026, by 5:00 pm.

Submissions should address one of the following themes:

  • A moment you felt strong: Show a time you overcame a challenge or stood tall during a tough moment.
  • Your heroes in your life: Celebrate someone in your life who served in the military and inspires you.
  • Bravery in the everyday: Highlight small acts of courage, like making new friends or helping others.
  • The world through my eyes: Share your view of the world through places you've lived or visited.
  • The power of friendship: Show how friendships bring joy, laughter, and support during transitions.

How to participate

  • Entries are accepted from any NTPS K–12 student. Only 1 entry per student.
  • Read the rules below, and submit your artwork with an entry form to militarysupport@ntps.org by March 20, 2026. Entries can also be mailed to Katie Linfoot, Military Support, 305 College Street NE, Lacey, WA 98516.

Rules for participants

  • Entries must follow one of the themes.
  • Artwork can be created using paint, chalk, pencil, acrylics, watercolors, recyclable materials, clay, etc.
  • Artwork can be a drawing, painting, collage, photography, graphic design, or creative writing (not exceeding 500 words). Video submissions will not be accepted.
  • Artwork must be the original work of the student.
  • Each participant must submit a completed entry form and a photo of their artwork to receive an MOMC Swag Bag delivered to the student's school by the Military Support Team in late February 2025.
  • Participants must include their name, grade, and school with the artwork submission.
  • NTPS reserves the right to deny a submission if the artwork violates policy/procedure 3207.

Goodie bags will be delivered to participating students' schools during the week of April 13–17, 2026.
