Complete your family's Child Nutrition Application
Families at schools with paid meal service can still complete the NTPS Child Nutrition Application to apply for free meals. Check the income guidelines on our website to see if you qualify, and complete the application form in Skyward Family Access or turn in a paper copy to your school office. One application covers all students in your household.
Families with a qualifying nutrition application can receive additional benefits, such as waived school fees and summer food assistance, by also completing the Consent to Share 2026-27 form for each student in Skyward.
Why did these schools not qualify for free meal service for all students?
Schools qualify for full school meal funding based on federal or state program eligibility requirements. To qualify for federal funding, at least 40% of students enrolled must qualify for free meals through the various federal programs. State funding is only available for elementary schools. Because the above schools do not meet the federal funding requirements, they will serve paid meals.
