Activities & Athletics
North Thurston Public Schools (NTPS) believes that activities and athletics are an important part of a student's educational experience. Participation in clubs, performing arts, student leadership, and athletics provides opportunities for students to develop skills, build relationships, explore interests, and contribute to their school community.
We are committed to providing safe, inclusive, and equitable opportunities that promote personal growth, sportsmanship, and positive school engagement.
Students who choose to participate in activities and athletics represent their school and community and are expected to conduct themselves accordingly. In addition to adhering to all NTPS rules, policies, and procedures regarding student conduct as outlined in this handbook, student-athletes must also comply with the NTPS Athletic Code and all applicable Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) rules and regulations.
For additional information, contact your school's advisor, coach, or athletic director.
See NTPS procedures 2150, 2150P, and 2151, the NTPS Athletic Code, and applicable WIAA regulations.
