Volunteer Spotlight: Troy Angelly
When Troy Angelly isn’t working as a paraeducator substitute in the district, he is usually volunteering at Lacey Elementary. Troy began volunteering at Lacey Elementary 10 years ago, while his children were students there. His kids are now in high school, but Troy has continued to volunteer at Lacey almost every day. He plays games, supervises recess, supports classroom instruction, and helps wherever needed. Troy is also the volunteer coordinator for Lacey Elementary, helping to coordinate and recruit volunteers for field trips and other events. Autumn Cummings, principal at Lacey, says that his kindness, consistency, and willingness to help make him a huge asset to the school.
