Volunteer Spotlight: North Thurston Interact Club
The North Thurston High School Rotary Interact Club is the youth branch of the Lacey Rotary Club. With over 100 student members, the Rotary Interact motto is “service above self,” and Interact students have volunteered at over 65 different events this school year, including food bagging with All Kids Win, tutoring math at Chinook Middle School, Day of Champions, the Duck Dash, painting houses with Rebuilding Together, and many other events around the district and in the community. This February, Interact students ran the entire Lacey Rotary meeting by choosing the topic and coordinating guest speakers.
