Volunteer Spotlight: South Sound Reading Foundation
In the 2025-26 school year, volunteers from the South Sound Reading Foundation are working with students at Chambers Prairie on skills like decoding words and fluency. Linda, one of the volunteers, says her favorite part of volunteering is working with the same students over time and watching them learn and grow. South Sound Reading Foundation volunteers also distribute books at many different events in our district, provide volunteer opportunities for NTPS students, and host a monthly Teacher Resource Day.
