Expect Great Things

An open book with the words Joy of Learning coming out of it.

The NTPS theme for the 2025-26 school year is Expect Great Things!

No matter which of our 24 schools your child attends, they will enjoy high-quality learning opportunities throughout the school year. We are committed to excellence in every aspect of your child’s educational journey, from academics and the arts to athletics and community involvement. We strive to spark a love of learning that continues with students throughout their K-12 education and beyond.

Our 2025-26 district theme is Expect Great Things. Each of our 15,000 students has unique talents and interests, and they can achieve great things in school and after graduation. We prepare our students for their next steps in life: apprenticeships, college, internships, military service, or the workforce.

Our educators foster a learning environment that offers rigorous instruction, innovative experiences, clear expectations, and the support and resources students need to succeed.

On this page, you will find examples of high expectations carried out in learning spaces across our school system. Outstanding educators create environments where students know they are capable of great things and have the tools they need to reach the high standards expected in the classroom. Check back for updates throughout the year!
